1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RemoveBgNow (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RemoveBgNow. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, references to "you" and "your" refer to both you as an individual and the organization you represent.

2. Description of Service

RemoveBgNow is a free, web-based tool that removes backgrounds from images using artificial intelligence. We also offer a passport photo maker and an AI image upscaler as part of the Service. All tools are provided at no cost and are accessible through modern web browsers on desktop and mobile devices.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty, express or implied. Processing is performed by third-party AI infrastructure, and results may vary depending on image quality, subject matter, and other factors. We continuously work to improve accuracy and performance, but we cannot guarantee that every processed image will meet your expectations.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Upload images that violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Upload images that are illegal, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Upload images that infringe on someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other intellectual property rights
• Attempt to abuse the Service through automated scripts, bots, excessive automated requests, or any form of security testing without prior written permission
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the availability or security of the platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service or its underlying AI models

We reserve the right to block or restrict access to any user who violates these acceptable use terms. If we detect abusive behavior, such as automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or attempts to bypass our processing limits, we may permanently ban the offending IP address or user agent without notice. We also reserve the right to report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

Your images remain yours before, during, and after processing — we are merely the tool you used to edit them.

The RemoveBgNow name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, our brand name, visual identity, software architecture, AI models, and proprietary algorithms. You may not use our name or logo to imply endorsement or affiliation without prior consent.

5. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to process images. While our AI model is highly capable, results are not guaranteed to be perfect for every image. Factors such as image quality, resolution, subject complexity, lighting, and background contrast can affect output quality. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating the output before using it for any purpose.

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated output for any particular purpose. By using the Service, you acknowledge that AI-based image processing is inherently probabilistic and that occasional imperfections — such as slight edge artifacts, partial transparency issues, or misidentified foreground elements — are a possibility. If the output does not meet your needs, we encourage you to try again with a different image or adjust your source material.

6. Privacy

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep RemoveBgNow available at all times, but we make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or performance. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, server issues, or factors beyond our control. Because the Service is provided entirely free of charge, we do not offer service level agreements (SLAs) or uptime guarantees.
